The ANFF is
an open access network comprising of eight Nodes across 21 institutions with
a portfolio of more than 500 tools valued at over $200 million. See: for full details |
Pricing – Initial OfferingThis document outlines the introductory pricing policy for Ion Beam Sputtered coatings that will be available for the first six months of operation of this new node. It has significant discounts applied to real costs to provide users the opportunity to try the service out and get a feel for what can be done and the properties of our coatings. Part numbers per run will be limited to 4 parts and numbers of runs per customer per month will be limited to 2 if there are capacity constraints here to ensure fair availability of the system to all users and to prevent “commercial exploitation” of the introductory offer rates. If you have commercial scale jobs, please contact us and we are happy to discuss and find a solution! Coatings will be Silica and Tantala
only initially, more materials will be brought on line over time. Coatings
are single rotation type only for first 3 categories providing uniformity
better than 0.5% across 100mm diameter. We can supply 25mm diameter, 6mm
thick, Lambda/10 double sided polished substrates with a 40/20 surface finish
at a cost of A$30 per piece if required. Fixturing
for anything outside 0.5”, 1”, 2”, or 100mm wafers will be charged at cost.
All parts will ship packed in individual optics boxes with measurement
results from calibrated Cary 5000 spectrophotometer. Please note that a condition of service is also
that any paper or conference proceedings etc
published that has used ANNF Optofab-ACT facilities
has the statement: "This work was
performed in part at the ACT OptoFab node of the Australian
National Fabrication Facility - a company established under the National
Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy to provide nano
and microfabrication facilities for Australia's researchers". or "This work has been made possible
through the access to the ACT Optofab Node of the
Australian National Fabrication Facility" or “We acknowledge the
support of the ANFF OptoFab ACT Node in carrying
out this research”. In the “Acknowledgements” section. This is a major
Key Performance Indicator that helps to determine our funding level and so
ability to service you and is therefore in your interest to do. For information on typical performance parameters
with the Veeco IBS, please see the Coatings
information and resources page.
